True Rest
From the cradle of the manger
To the cradle of the sea,
There was one who slept while danger
Came and whirled ’round you and me.
He could sleep while plans in motion
Did their best to kill Him dead,
And while seas made great commotion
And disciples shook His bed.
For, you see, He has a Father
Whom He can depend upon
And a storm is not a bother
When you have a Dad that strong.
